Overwatch 2 will be an entirely different beast in terms of a sequel due to
how it is integrated into the original game, while making new additions.
Overwatch has become a huge phenomenon shortly after it came out and it's
only become more popular ever since. While the first game hasn't stopped
playing, Blizzard will make the switch to Overwatch 2 sooner or later. While the
name implies the sequel to the first game, cosmetics , and even progress are
transferable to the new.
Overwatch 2 therefore is not a direct sequel but it is a continuation of the
first game. Jeff Kaplan, Overwatch Director, stressed that Blizzard tried to
redefine what a sequel is. Take a look at Overwatch

Overwatch 2 Characters We Know About
The Release Date of Overwatch 2
Overwatch 2 was not announced at Blizzcon 2019. At the time of the
announcement, the director of the game, Jeff Kaplan said that Overwatch 2 was
during the initial phases of development, and it would take a while before it
was released. Blizzard has been silent since the announcement. However, Kaplan
in a December 2020 developer update said that Overwatch 2 would be featured at
the 2021 Blizzon online event. In light of that, Overwatch 2 will likely have a
full release sometime around 2021. There will also be early beta testing
happening sometime before the official release.
Overwatch 2 Story Information
Overwatch 2 will place a more emphasis on narrative than the original game.
There will be real stories-based missions players can undertake. The new mode,
known as Story Experience allows players to play various PvE mission. The story
unfolds after Winston has been recalled by the Overwatch team and witnesses the
heroes taking on the robotic army that is known as the Null Sector. The missions
will include pickups that can modify a character's abilities and an ability to
level. It's not clear exactly what story missions Overwatch 2 will have, but
it's likely to be a way for Blizzard to continue expanding the universe well
after the game's release, by releasing new story missions when new characters
are released. At owboostroyal.com, you can find Overwatch 2 characters we know

Overwatch-2 Gameplay
The most important thing to be aware of about Overwatch 2 is that the game
will be compatible with all of the games from the first. Overwatch 2 players
Overwatch 2 will still be able to party up with their friends who only have the
first Overwatch, and the only content they will not be able to access is the PvE
story mode. Overwatch 2 is also getting an amazing visual update however, it's
unclear if that graphical update will also affect players from the first game.
As far as gameplay, Overwatch 2 looks very like the original game, but the
current heroes are sure to receive some changes. Where the real new stuff lies
is in the new characters, maps, and game modes. So so far Blizzard has revealed
one new character named Sojourn, who likes like an incredibly aggressive and
mobile hero, sporting a gun attached to her arm. So far, four new maps have been
unveiled, including Monte Carlo and Toronto, Gothenburg and Rio De
Janeiro.
Overwatch 2 introduces Push, a new mode that is somewhat distinct from Payload. Teams compete against a massive robot that is pushing barriers along an obstacle and the team capable of pushing the robot into the territory of their opponent is the winner. Important to remember that cosmetics and the progress made in the first game will carry over to Overwatch 2.
